Heath is the large lot end of Rockwall County. Homes here sit on more land than almost anywhere else nearby, a good number of them look out toward Lake Ray Hubbard, and many were custom built rather than developed in a run. That changes what an owner is asking for. Nobody remodels a house in Heath to get it sold next spring, so the work is generally about doing something once, at a standard that will still be right in fifteen years.

In practice that means the jobs run larger and the material list runs finer. Primary bathrooms taken back to the studs and rebuilt in marble or full slab stone, kitchens where the counter material carries up the wall, floors in large format tile that demand a genuinely flat slab, and outdoor living space finished to the same level as the inside. It is also the part of the county where a bigger house means a bigger foundation on the same expansive clay, so movement joints and crack isolation are not optional details, they are what keeps a very expensive floor intact.
