Sachse sits on the line between Collin and Dallas counties, between Wylie and Garland, and it stayed a small town far longer than its neighbors before growing quickly. That history left it with a mix that is unusual for this area: a modest older core alongside large stretches of newer suburban building, all inside a compact city.

For us that means two kinds of job within a few streets of each other. The newer homes are at the age where builder grade finishes are being replaced and hall bathrooms are being rebuilt properly. The older properties need the more fundamental work, opening up kitchens, replacing floors that have moved with the clay underneath, and bringing bathrooms up to a standard the rest of the house already meets. Sachse is a comfortable drive from Royse City and is squarely inside the area we cover.
